Intrigued by how certain interactions can significantly impact workflows, Dial was created keeping my own creative processes in mind. The mouse introduces a secondary dial-like wheel on the back for fine-tuned adjustments, aiming to add a useful secondary interaction to the user's workflow. As an exercise to refine personal design skills and processes, a straightforward industrial design process was followed, from initial sketches to CAD models and 3D-printed prototypes.

The project gained traction online through various articles and features, providing a great way to gather feedback. The idea of using the dial feature received positive responses, though the ergonomics were frequently discussed. The focus was on incorporating the dial feature into the design, with the next step being a detailed analysis of ergonomics.

This experience highlighted the importance of iterative design and hands-on prototyping, improving skills in creating detailed mockups and reinforcing a design process centered on experimentation and play.
